Morning! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I know I did which is why I’m currently suffering from a case of the Mondays.
The whole November thing is difficult for me to wrap my head around. It seems like just yesterday I was out celebrating the end of the world December 21st with my girlfriends and here we are about to roll into the last month of the year again. Pure craziness how quickly life goes by. While it’s tough for me to fathom where we are, like everyone else, I too am excited for the holidays. I can officially stop feeling bad about my Spotify Christmas playlist going non-stop and the must watch holiday movie list starting to get scratched off.
November is sure to be full of preparation for my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving and pre-planning for the most special birthday in the world (Baby Jesus), but before I get ahead of myself, I want to take time to let you know what I am Thankful for as we make our way toward the holiday. I didn’t have the chance to share starting on Friday, but with every blog post in November, I will end with a mention of thanks. I hope you’ll join in on the fun and use the hashtag #ThankfulandGrateful when you’re posting on social media.
Without further ado:
November 1: My faith and relationship with my Lord and Savior I can’t tell you how He has lifted me in times of despair and held me steadfast when I knew no other way. My hand is forever locked in His and I cannot imagine my journey in life without Him.
November 2: My Momma and Papa Bear- I can only imagine how hard it is to be a parent. I’m lucky mine love me unconditionally. I’ve given them many tests through the years and they have never left my side. Sacrifice means so much more when you realize what it really means for the people always giving. I am forever thankful and hope I show them half as much love in my lifetime.
November 3: My sister: Having a twin isn’t always easy but I am thankful for having 19 years of a playmate, second opinion, accomplice and someone to aggravate. I am constantly amazed at how lovely, smart and responsible she is. Thankful for having her is hardly saying enough.
November 4: Aunt Fay(rene)- November 4th is actually Aunt Faye’s 80th Birthday. I couldn’t be anymore thankful for her. I literally feel like my heart might burst when I think of the love I have for her. She is a best friend, a mentor, a true example of class, humor and someone who makes things happen. I treasure the relationship we have and am deeply thankful for having her in my life.
Don’t forget to share what you’re thankful for this month. #ThankfulandGrateful
